Two Minute Grounding: Root Chakra

Begin by sitting in a chair with feet flat on the floor. Imagine long thick roots extending from the bottom of your feet a mile down into the earth. In your mind, watch the roots wind deep down into the earth and hook them on to the core of the planet. Then imagine a warm burst of air coming up through those roots into your legs, your hips, your chest, your arms, your heart, your head. Pull that earth energy and grounding force into your body and let the earth fill you with strength. Your root chakra is your most powerful chakra in times of fear and stress. There, you are reminded that you are safe and well, whole and loved. Stay in this visualization until you feel the warmth all the way through your body.
